WHO International Standards for Antibiotics (ISA)

WHO International Standards for Antibiotics (ISA) sind globale Referenzstandards, die von der Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO) festgelegt werden. Sie dienen als weltweite Vergleichs- und Qualitätsmaßstäbe für die Prüfung, Dosierung und Qualitätskontrolle von Antibiotika.
Seit 2006 liegt die Verantwortung für Herstellung, Lagerung und Distribution der WHO‑Standards beim EDQM (European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare)
